Spicy Minds Ltd (Trading as Rowan) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct. This whistleblowing policy provides a framework for employees to raise concerns about wrongdoing, malpractice, or risks to the public or the organization, without fear of retaliation or discrimination.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and individuals working for or with Spicy Minds Ltd in any capacity.
Types of Concerns Covered
Illegal activities or breaches of law
Financial fraud or mismanagement
Endangerment to an individual’s health and safety
Damage to the environment
Any form of unethical conduct or wrongdoing
Reporting Procedure
Concerns should be reported to the designated Whistleblowing Officer or through the established reporting channels.
Reports can be made anonymously if desired, although providing a name and contact details is encouraged for effective investigation.
Investigation
All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly and confidentially.
The whistleblower will receive feedback on the investigation’s outcome, subject to legal and confidentiality constraints.
Protection
Protection against retaliation, discrimination, or disadvantage for raising a concern in good faith.
Confidentiality will be maintained as far as possible.
False Reporting
Whistleblowers must act in good faith. Deliberate false allegations will be considered a serious offense and may lead to disciplinary action.
Training and Communication
Regular training for employees on the whistleblowing policy and procedures.
Clear communication to ensure all staff are aware of how to raise concerns.
Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed and updated regularly to reflect new legal and regulatory developments and ensure good practice.
